- Name: Methylation class myositis ossificans
- Description: The methylation class "myositis ossificans" is based on tumours with the histological diagnosis myositis ossificans. They arise often in locations susceptible to trauma such as extremities, shoulder, buttock; median age is 13 years (range 9 to 17). Recurrent chromosomal alterations are not observed and many cases show a flat profile in copy number analysis.
